Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: May 12, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes how customers and their authorized users may use services hosted or operated by Rendered HQ LLC ("Rendered"). The AUP is incorporated by reference into our customer agreements (typically the Common Paper Cloud Service Agreement or a similar written contract) and applies to all use of those services. The companion Terms of Use apply to use of our public website.

Prohibited content

You may not use a Rendered-hosted service to store, transmit, or make available any content that:

  • is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or that infringes another person's intellectual-property or privacy rights;
  • is harassing, threatening, hateful, or harmful to minors;
  • contains malware, viruses, worms, ransomware, spyware, keyloggers, or other harmful code;
  • is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit, or that promotes or markets such material;
  • depicts or facilitates the sexual exploitation of minors, or any sexual content involving non-consenting parties — these are absolute prohibitions and any such content will be reported to law enforcement;
  • discloses personal information about another person without that person's permission or a lawful basis to do so.

Prohibited conduct

You may not use a Rendered-hosted service to:

  • send unsolicited bulk email or messages ("spam"), or operate any service in violation of the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act or similar law;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, network, or data, including by probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of any system without prior written authorization;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or impose an unreasonable load on the service or its infrastructure;
  • circumvent any access, authentication, rate-limit, or security control;
  • resell, sublicense, or make the service available to third parties except as expressly permitted by your customer agreement;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Rendered platform or any underlying technology, except to the extent applicable law permits notwithstanding this restriction;
  • use the service in connection with the operation of nuclear facilities, life-support systems, air-traffic control, weapons systems, or any application where failure could result in death, personal injury, or severe environmental or property damage.

Authorized security testing

The unauthorized-access restrictions above do not prohibit a customer from conducting good-faith security testing of its own Rendered-hosted service ("self-tenant testing"), provided the customer notifies admin@renderedhq.com at least three business days in advance and coordinates with Rendered on timing, scope, and method for any test that could meaningfully load or destabilize the service or any sub-processor. Third-party security researchers who discover an issue and report it in good faith are covered under the Reporting Violations section below; please do not test other customers' tenants.

Customer responsibility

You are responsible for the acts and omissions of anyone you authorize to use your account, including employees, contractors, and other third parties to whom you grant access. You must use reasonable security measures to protect your administrative credentials and promptly notify us at admin@renderedhq.com of any suspected unauthorized access or other security incident.

Reporting violations

If you become aware of a violation of this AUP — whether by you, someone you've authorized, or a third party using our service — please report it promptly to admin@renderedhq.com. Good-faith reports will not subject the reporter to suspension, service degradation, or any other adverse action under this AUP or any associated customer agreement, even if the report ultimately proves mistaken or cannot be substantiated.

Enforcement

We prefer to resolve AUP issues by communication. Where a violation is non-urgent and the conduct can be corrected, we will normally contact the customer and request a fix within a reasonable cure period (typically not less than five business days). Where a violation is severe, ongoing, or creates an immediate risk to the service, to other customers, or to third parties, we may suspend the affected service, account, or feature without prior notice; we will provide notice promptly thereafter and work in good faith to restore service once the violation has been remedied. Material breach of this AUP that is not cured may be grounds for termination of the customer agreement.

No waiver

A failure by Rendered to enforce a particular provision of this AUP in a particular instance is not a waiver of our right to enforce that provision later.

Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time as the threat landscape and our service evolve. The current effective date is at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to active customers by email or in-product notice.
